Well I figured since I did a post about the millennial college student heading back to school, I couldn’t miss the chance to profile the millennial teenager.  For those of us who grew up with rotary dial phones and the dreaded dial-up Internet, it’s hard to imagine that most of the youth today have no concept of a world that didn’t exist without laptops, smartphones, tablets and anytime/anywhere digital web access.

If you’re confused by how today’s generation interacts with one another, you’re definitely not alone!  So as another school year gets under way, here is another jack dandy infographic for you (from www.onlineschools), this time offering a detailed look at the tech-savvy world of technology-obsessed teens.  As parents and youth workers, it’s imperative that we know the advances of communication and social media, and are in the forefront of helping youth establish healthy boundaries for their own tech consumption.  Hopefully we’re the ones modeling this to the younger generations!
